Über den Ort

Eko Hotels and Suites functions as the commercial gathering hub of Victoria Island.

The property began operating as Èkó Holiday Inn following a design collaboration between Nigerian architect Oluwole Olumuyiwa and American partners. Later managed as Le Meridien Eko Hotel and Suites before its integration into the Chagoury Group, the site developed into the largest hotel complex in Nigeria. Its expansive footprint on Victoria Island provides major conference facilities alongside extensive guest accommodation.

Long-term guests encounter an environment tailored around formal summits, corporate banquets, and major trade events. The hotel maintains ties with domestic tourism bodies, including an agreement with the Lagos zone of the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies. Staying on site shields residents from municipal service interruptions, though daily routines remain confined to an enclosed hospitality perimeter.
